What does the company do?

It combines the social experience of Facebook with the educational management systems in one place, facilitating the online management and collaboration of the classroom.

Teachers and students can interact through discussion forums, upload material for the classes, give marks to their students, and schedule homeworks and tests, through a freeware tool which allows any user to create courses in minutes. It does not matter if the educational institution has a platform or not.

How did the idea come out?

Educational management systems are widely used by schools and universities around the world, but these are closed, expensive, and not user friendly.

On the other hand, we saw how social networks grow in the world. Facebook and Twitter give us spaces to interact with other users in an easy and free manner.

Where do you see yourself in 2 years?

As a consolidated company in Latin America and as the first educational social network of the region.

What do you like most about being an entrepreneur?

The freedom to innovate and to create value with disruptive business models.
