A Canadian researcher explains that schools must transform into knowledge builders

Marlene Scardamalia, researcher of the University of Toronto, explained at a seminar that the education requires a radical change based on a new role of schools as knowledge builders. The event was organized by the Center of Education Innovation of Fundación Chile, Fundación Minera Escondida, Fundación Arauco, and El Mercurio Newspaper. During the event were also presented the 13 new facilities that will be part of the Network of Leading Schools.
